1.) Business Transformation Project
It enables students to demonstrate proficiency in the design of a business enhancement project, application of appropriate methods of investigation, management of the change process, and maintenance of leadership and vision in the face of the vicissitudes of business realities. It is a pre-requisite for this module that the individual has successfully completed and submitted their Project Proposal as part of the Research Methods module.
On completion of this module the successful student will be able to demonstrate clarities of problem definitions and scopes.
This module will call for the successful student to identify and justify a key managerial issue affecting the industry or their own organisation that requires resolution.
The main focus of the Business Transformation Project is an 'action research' where the organisation or industry directly benefits from the planned intervention of the student using appropriate methods of research and change management.
Tuition is tailored to the specific needs of the student as agreed with the academic mentor/supervisor on the basis of the student's proposal. Students will use their familiarity with the theory and empirical research in their chosen area of study drawn from the Research Methods module, and to demonstrate their ability to review and apply the concepts and techniques critically.
Type of Examination
